                                                                                                             During the 1990's, Yugoslavia underwent a genocide due                                                                                                                to the heinous acts against humanity conducted by the                                                                                                                      President of the country, Slobodan                                                                                                                                                      Milosevic. Consequently, this period of turmoil resulted in                                                                                                                the slaughtering of 30,000+ Bosnians. Milosevic was tried                                                                                                              in court, however, his demise in 2006 led to the                                                                                                                                suspension of the case.
